Running Accomplishments:

I've been running consistently for almost twenty years. I've done a couple of marathons. 

Short-Term Running Goals:

In 2016: At least 17 miles a week, 67 a month, 800 for the year

Sub 26:00 5K

Sub 55:00 10K

Sub 2:00 half (if I decide to do one this year :)

 

Long-Term Running Goals:

Run another marathon, maybe. Someday. If I feel like it.

Personal:

I love my husband and my four children and running lets me spend more time with them!

Indoors again this morning. Not super interesting, but better than the single digits outdoors.

I've had a bad tension headache and was feeling super tight. A thirty minute workout actually helped loosen things up.

Three at the indoor track and then one more after I got home just to pad my miles for the day. Also got in 30 minutes of yoga/pilates.

Four up the canyon with Adam. It was cold and I probably should have eased into my new mileage goals since November and December were pretty low. Most of my recent miles have been on the indoor track too. In other words, I had a pretty big IT band flare up. I walked some on the way back to keep it from totally blowing up. It didn't bother me the rest of the day, but I'll need to be very careful next week to keep things happy.

About 60 minutes of strength training this week. I also need to be careful with this over the next week or two. More stretching, go easy on the squats, but definitely do it.
