Running Accomplishments:

I've been running consistently for almost twenty years. I've done a couple of marathons. 

Short-Term Running Goals:

In 2016: At least 17 miles a week, 67 a month, 800 for the year

Sub 26:00 5K

Sub 55:00 10K

Sub 2:00 half (if I decide to do one this year :)

 

Long-Term Running Goals:

Run another marathon, maybe. Someday. If I feel like it.

Personal:

I love my husband and my four children and running lets me spend more time with them!

Had to cut the favorite run a little short so I could finish some homework, but I got most of it in. Ran three of the miles with rocks in my pockets (some really pretty pieces of quartz - I'm such a nerd). I'm counting it as resistance training :) along with my 1x10 routine.

20 minute yoga routine. First time in a while and I can still move. I call that success.

Not the miles I'd hoped for these last few weeks, but I'm at the point in the semester where anything at all is a great victory. I'm reducing my classes for next semester so I have a little more time for important things (like making dinner, and showering).

My goal for next week is to get in my old 3x10 strength workout three times and to get at least four runs in for at least 15 miles.
