Running Accomplishments:

I've been running consistently for almost twenty years. I've done a couple of marathons. 

Short-Term Running Goals:

In 2016: At least 17 miles a week, 67 a month, 800 for the year

Sub 26:00 5K

Sub 55:00 10K

Sub 2:00 half (if I decide to do one this year :)

 

Long-Term Running Goals:

Run another marathon, maybe. Someday. If I feel like it.

Personal:

I love my husband and my four children and running lets me spend more time with them!

I don't want to overdo it after a big jump in mileage last week so I ran short today. Kind of sad that the difference between a short run and a long run is two miles. My primary goal is consistency though so I'll live with it.

A "longer" run today :)  Somehow it managed to be uphill both ways. Some people would say that means it was flat, but that was definitely not the case. It just took three-fourths of the run to get up the hill and then the last little bit was all down. I think I'll do the route backwards next time. Might as well get the torture over with as soon as possible and then enjoy a pleasant 3 miles afterwards.

Actually got up at 7:30 and got in a run before this crazy day took off. It helped that I wasn't waiting up for kids to come home late last night. It's a lot easier to get up on Saturday when you can go to bed before midnight Friday.
